Emergency message from the Charleston VA medical center

For those in the state of SC. here is an update from the VA regarding the Evac situation.  I got an updated e-mail from the VA here. It’s as follows:
EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS
Situation Update – Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center

The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and its clinics will close at noon on Wednesday, October 5.
VAMC STATUS: South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has declared a state of emergency for the state of South Carolina and has ordered an evacuation of coastal South Carolina communities in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. General evacuations are scheduled to start today, Wednesday, October 5 at 3 p.m. Schools and government offices in the Lowcountry and other coastal areas are closed today and lane reversals on main roadways began this afternoon for evacuation routes. At this time, Charleston VAMC Outpatient Clinics, including Hinesville, Savannah, Goose Creek, Beaufort, and Myrtle Beach CBOCs, and Trident Annex are closed for the rest of the week. Inpatients are currently being transferred to other facilities. The VA hospital and clinics are scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, October 11. Mission essential personnel (as identified by their supervisors and service chiefs) should plan to remain on station to help maintain minimal hospital operations throughout the inclement weather event, likely through Saturday. All non-essential employees (as identified by their supervisors and service chiefs) were released today at noon on authorized absence. The Director has activated the Emergency Operations Center to manage all planning and actions related to the storm. Regular updates will be provided changes occur in weather conditions, hospital and clinic status, and employee status.
CBOC STATUS:
Hinesville – Closed; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
Savannah – Closed; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
Myrtle Beach – Closed ; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
Trident Annex – Closed; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
Goose Creek – Closed; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
Beaufort – Closed; Re-opening Tuesday, October 11
PATIENT STATUS: All clinics and all patient appointments at the main facility and CBOCs are cancelled for the rest of the week. Clinic staff will call patients to reschedule these appointments. Inpatients at the VA hospital will be transferred to other facilities through the day on Wednesday, October 5. Outpatient clinics are scheduled to open on Tuesday, October 11. We will continue to monitor the status of the storm and update closures as needed. In the event of an emergency, go to the nearest emergency room.
VA VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers should not report for duty for the remainder of the week and are requested to resume their scheduled shifts beginning Tuesday, October 11.
CANTEEN UPDATE: The Patriot Café and Patriot Brew closed today, October 5 at noon. The Patriot Store is closed for the rest of the day. Tomorrow and through the weekend, weather permitting and provided there is a safe route to and from the medical center, the Patriot Store will be open for operations. The hours of operations will be dictated based on the needs of the Veterans, their families and the remaining VAMC staff.
